Groundbreaking crossover dance band, Pendulum, have a brand new second album 'In Silico, which follows their 225,000 selling debut 'Hold Your Colour'.
A seamless fusion of pounding dance beats and aggressive rock, 'In Silico' features the recent singles 'Propane Nightmares' and 'Granite' and represents a huge progression from 'Hold Your Colour'. 'In Silico' also marks producer / keyboardist Rob Swire's first outing as a vocalist, with fellow producer / bassist Gareth McGrillen on backing vocals.
Pendulum have been working on songs for 'In Silico' ever since 'Hold Your Colour' was released, with the bulk of the material recorded at their own. Influenced by an eclectic array of sounds including Led Zeppelin, Underoath and Atreyu, 'In Silico' represents an exciting new era for Pendulum.
Other highlights of the album include the propulsive, mood setting opener 'Showdown', the relentless energy of 'Mutiny' and the ambitious progression of set closer 'The Tempest'.
